1. First off, start with a program that is best suited for you. Fitness is different from person to person. Woman who have had surgery will have a different type of training that someone who has never been under the knife. Please consult a trainer qualified to help you find a program that is suited for you. If you start a program not designed for your goals, it will be nothing but frustration for you and you will develop injuries.

2. The first thing to do is set realistic goals. Don’t you think that you would be upset if your target was to reshape your body in 30 days? Remember that to have the body you want requires a sensible timetable. Your program should be very practical and fun to keep your mind focused on reaching your goal instead of looking for false promises. When you begin your program, your awareness should be keen at all times so you won’t lose your focus.

3. Exercise on the muscular parts of your body. reason for this is while you are developing your muscle, you will lose calories which lowers the fat content in your body. Weight lifting and multi-joint exercises should be in you regime.

4. Systematically work on your muscles. As your workout routine get into gear, you should work your muscles harder. Doing the same type of exercise will not allow your muscles to grow. Record your workout session so it can motivate you to continue as you start to see the results.

5. Before working out, always, I repeat always do some stretching motions before you start your routine. Staying hydrated with water is important as well.

6. Motivation is a must! The very best ways to keep your level of fitness training at a high level, is to allow a healthy competition with a workout partner. Having someone working out with you can push you to want to stay on shape.

7.Not all fitness programs work for everybody. Please note that there is no one workout that is best for everybody. Study and learn from others. Learn to acknowledge and demonstrate self discipline while keeping yourself motivated to harder with variety in your program. If you will do these things,  your fitness level will become stronger. Remember to add healthy foods to your diet as well.

  4. I Liked reading this post. Quite some usefull fitness info in it for me :) . And after reading this i think you will really like the book Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle. To me this is like the health and fitness bible. Last year i lost almost 25 pounds and gained an inch on my arms in 12 weeks. What you describe here does resemble the book a bit, but there is so much more! I added the link in my name so you dont have to search for it ;) . Again, nice post and i hope you keep it up!

    Thanks. We all need to realize; both men and women need to incorporate fitness into our daily routines. It is not enough to eat the right things. We need a combination of the right foods and liquids, and exercise to help us keep off the weight and live a better life……
